You can add and delete your Favorites in the Registry Editor. Favorites do not store the []'s. Example:

Registry Editor
Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Regedit\Favorites]
Value Name: (Name of the Favorite)
Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value)
Value: (Favorite Registry Key)
