A question we are often asked when a customer is about to trial Replify Accelerator is whether or not it will impact their network for non-Accelerator users.
For most scenarios, the answer is a definitive "No, if anything, it may improve things." The reason we are asked this is because a number of WAN optimization products work "in-line".

Long before starting work in Replify, I had a job where I would provide assistance to customers who were deploying Enterprise software solutions.
In general, this was an interesting job, however it could be infuriating whenever customers would raise issues that couldn't reliably be reproduced.

UltraISO is an ISO CD/DVD image file creating/editing/converting tool and a bootable CD/DVD maker , it can directly edit the CD/DVD image file and extract files and folders from it, as well as directly make ISO files from your CD/DVD-ROM or hard disk. At the same time, you can maintain the ISO bootable information, thus creating your own bootable CD/DVDs. You now have the power to make and edit your own ISO files, and then burn them to CD/DVD for your own needs.

As we've mentioned in a few recent blog posts, the Replify office has a great city centre location close to shops, bars, restaurants etc.
At lunchtimes I like to stretch my legs and go out to get some lunch to take back to the office. While there are lots of options available, I tend to keep going back to the same places again and again.

When it comes to eating out, I love to peruse a menu and see all the interesting options available that aren't seen very often in restaurants close to home. e.g. tartare, snails, marrowbone, offal etc. When eating away from home, I feel I've missed out on an opportunity if I don't try any of the local cuisine. This trip was no exception and a meal on our final evening starting with marrowbone followed by seared kidneys kept me happy.

With more and more small to medium businesses (SMB) moving to the cloud (and Replify is no different), it means moving is much easier - no hardware to lug around - your applications are always on. The only disadvantage of the cloud can be slower access as your applications might be in a different continent!

In Northern Ireland where Replify is based, we had "Orangefest" celebrations at the weekend. For those who don't know anything about Northern Ireland politics, let's just say Orangefest is a bit of a "marmite" celebration. Some people embrace it wholeheartedly while others just want it to go away.

I've a group of friends who once or twice a year meet up and go wine tasting. At these events there are normally seven or eight wines available. The format usually involves the host telling us a little about each wine, we drink half a glass or so of it and then move onto the next one. They are usually good value, the theory being that after all that wine, they're more likely to be able to sell you a case to take home.

All over Europe, citizens are casting their vote in order to elect members to represent them in the European Parliament. The pros/cons of the parliament are a controversial topic outside the scope of this blog (something has to be after all), but the logistics of the actual process should be a much safer topic to discuss.

I'm a big cycling fan. In the past I've used an analogy with cycling to explain (allegedly) some of the concepts of WAN Optimization. A few days ago Belfast hosted the Gran Partenza (big start) of the Giro d'Italia, and local cycling fans got to see road cycling's elite, up close and personal.

Little did I know that when I joined Replify, I would encounter the works of Shakespeare again. Those of you who have been given a Replify demo are probably familiar with the test document we use which is a document containing the complete works of William Shakespeare. If not, feel free to watch it here.
