If the document was opened, this flaw could allow a malicious macro embedded in the document to be executed automatically, regardless of the level at which macro security is set. The malicious macro could take the same actions that the user had permissions to carry out, such as adding, changing or deleting data or files, communicating with a web site or formatting the hard drive.

The file is the same, if you install it, it only asks for repair and or removal of the current 6.0.602. There is however suppose to be a future release of 6.1 associated with MSN 9.0.

View Messenger related news. While running around today, I was able to get a hold of some information and look at some sites. While doing so, I came along a site boo boo which was done last week and still hasn't been fixed. The digital signature on the file, was 6.0.602 same file, same messenger.
