LSI Logic (NYSE: LSI) and Maxtor Corporation (NYSE: MXO), two original members of the Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) Working Group, announced plans today to collaborate on extended testing and prototype development of LSI Logic silicon and Maxtor® Atlas hard disk drives. The project will make use of LSI Logic Fusion-MPT (Message Passing Technology) architecture to simplify and speed the development (http://lsilogic.com/sas).

A 12yr old child has been delegating the attacks upon Neowin and a number of other sites as well. The attacker has not 1 but an army of attacking points in which he uses to zero into his victim. We will keep monitoring this as it is likely it will be down again !
