It is amazing how computer related travel can get you into so many interesting situations. Take our hotel stay for example. We started with a nice waterfall in the rest room from the floor above. Then we kept ourselves entertained at the hotel's lounge pool table during which we were acquainted with a man by the name of Bruce. He explained his past with these words "I was marine in Vietnam, twice around. And I am very, very bad man." Anyways, he also is a Certified NY Fire Inspector. He gave access to the small group of people, including ourselves, to see "New York at its finest", meaning the roof of a nine story building from which The Empire State Building and Hudson River could be seen. Please note Bruce is a very blunt person who could bring a man or woman to tears with only the use of his voice. But for the entertainment value tolerating his shrewd behavior was worth it. Bruce is also responsible for keeping part of the city awake with his loud singing via a karaoke machine pointing out towards the streets. We saved several people the agony of hearing us sing. We wished that Lana or Zana had graced everyone with a song. Unfortunately, they were self-inhibited by lack of sleep and a fear of being out of tune. We hope both of them enjoy their stay in NYC and other parts of the states, which they visit. We would like to wish our French friend good luck in the resolving of her problems as well.
