07.29.2008 - Intel at the Next Generation Data Center Conference in SF

Intel has an active presence planned for the Next Generation Data Center (NGDC) conference and LinuxWorld Conference and Expo scheduled for August 5 - 7. Both events are co-located at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, Ca. Intel’s activities include breakout sessions and panels ranging from the greening of the data center and cloud computing to the importance of virtualization and much more. Intel’s Ram Peddibhotla has a keynote describing software platforms and the shift to the mobile internet, and Intel’s booth will highlight various technologies including Intel’s Vpro enterprise client technology, Eco Rack server technology for the data center, Fibre Channel over Ethernet, Intel’s Virtual Machine Device Queues technology, and Intel-based technologies from several computer manufactures.
