The Moblin Enabling Center (MEC) in Taipei opened its doors after a joint announcement from Intel, the Institute for Information Industry and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The MEC will provide the Moblin technologies and services to assist Taiwan in speeding up the development of a comprehensive Moblin industry ecosystem and developing the island into a global hub of mobile computing.
